White Water Rafting 2012
WHITE WATER RAFTING AND CAVING WEEKEND June 22nd -24th
Rafting: Youghiogheny River, Ohiopyle, PA (www.laurelhighlands.com)
Caving: Laurel Caverns, Hopwood, PA (www.laurelcaverns.com)

We will leave 4.30 pm on Friday June 22nd for campsite at Scarlett Knob Campground in Ohiopyle, PA. On Saturday June 23rd there will be a choice of 2 levels of White Water Rafting available; Class 1 & 2 rapids at Middle Yough or Class 3 & 4 rapids at the Lower Yough. On Sunday there will be the opportunity to go caving at Laurel Caverns. Scouts and adults will have the option of either the 1 hour Traditional Cave Tour (with cave mounted lighting) or the 3 hour Upper Cave Tour (that includes both lit and non-lit sections of the cave). Cost for the weekend will be $110 or $160 depending on choices.

2012 Bicycle Camp Out
All bicycles and gear for the weekend will be loaded on Thursday May 17th at 6.30 pm to allow for departure from FCPC on Friday May 18th at 5:30 PM. Bring a bag dinner as we will NOT be stopping. We will arrive at the Antietam Creek Campgrounds around 8:30 (depending on traffic). The weekend will be patrol cooking, to be organized by the SPL and Patrol Leaders. Welcome to Troop 895!
Boy Scout Troop 895 continues a 50 year tradition of guiding boys through the Scouting program for ages 11-18. We are a fun group with members from Falls Church City, Alexandria City, Arlington County, and Fairfax County, Virginia. Falls Church Presbyterian is our proud sponsoring organization, but like most troops, we welcome members regardless of religious faith.
