Spring Hill Camping 2011
The Objective: The Five Mile Hike, campfire, map and compass work, night navigation if the sky cooperates! And camp wide games, time permitting.
The Plan: On Saturday Nov 5th, we will drive to Sky Meadows State Park, set up camp, and hike up through the Meadows using the Ambassador Whitehouse trail, the Appalachian Trail, the North Ridge Trail, and the South Ridge Trail for a total of about 6 miles. We will have lunch on the trail. Patrols will return to camp and prepare dinner. After cleaning up from dinner if time camp wide games. We will have a campfire and work on night orienteering (hopefully without clouds). Patrols are responsible for skits and songs.
