FCT - Scouts complete trek
From the Falls Church Times - GOSHEN, Va. — Fourteen Scouts from Falls Church’s Troop 895 recently completed the five-day Lenhok’sin backpacking trek at Goshen Scout Reservation in Virginia. Over rough terrain in the Alleghany Mountains, two backpacking crews hiked 30 miles with full packs, accompanied by five adult leaders. The Lenhok’sin trek is a highlight of the High Adventure program run by the troop, a local institution with 55 years of history serving Falls Church.
